"Cheif Betweendances"

2000 APHA Black and White Homozygous Tobiano Stallion

We are excited to offer this promising young stallion for your breeding consideration in 2003.  "Cheif" is Hank-A-Chiefton and Bostons Leo Mac bred.  In addition to royal breeding, he has excellent conformation, and he is good-minded.  He, like Texan Bar Time, has also tested out double homozygous (for tobiano pattern and black color pigment).

bullet

He is enrolled in the APHA Breeders Trust Program for 2003.

He should not sire a solid or red foal, regardless of color/pattern of the mare he covers.  We bred him to seven mares last year as a two year old.  All seven caught, and we are expecting his first foals in March 2003.

We have started Cheif under saddle, and he is progressing well.  He has a willing attitude and is a nice mover.

2003 STUD FEE:  $400 (live colored foal guarantee)

Mare care: $6/d dry, $8/d wet

Live cover only

NOTE:  We sold Tex in 2004.  Please contact us if you are interested in him, and we will pass on the new owner information.

We acquired the well known Texan Bar Time in late 2002, and we offered him at stud in 2003.  "Tex" has sired over 130 APHA foals to date.  He has also proved to be an excellent sire for numerous Half Arabians and Warmblood crosses.

bullet

He is a nominated sire in the International Arabian Breeders Sweepstakes.

bullet

He is enrolled in the APHA Breeders Trust for 2003.

He has never sired a solid foal or a red foal.  Tex is Portland tested homozygous for tobiano and black pigment, and his vast foal crops stand behind the test findings.  This stallion also possesses the rare "true black" color that does not fade out in the summer sun.

Texan Bar Time has the pedigree and conformation to make him a stand out stud.  Nevertheless and just as important, he has a disposition that cannot be beat!  He is quiet, kind and has a willing attitude.
